Leading children’s activity association back for 2016.
LIW is delighted to announce a renewed partnership with leading children’s activity association Fit for Sport, the UK’s experts in educating and engaging children and young people through physical activity.
Supporting the Health and Play Education Streams with a focus on getting children active and healthy, Fit for Sport will deliver case studies of their innovative Activity Challenge designed to enable schools, businesses and medical professionals to monitor children’s activity levels; and their Sport England funded Engage to Compete programme to ensure children are getting the prescribed 60 minutes of activity per day.
Fit for Sport will also be showcasing their exciting Looney Toon Activity Camps, broadcasting how fun and everyone’s favourite characters are vital to getting children active and engaged.
“This partnership with Fit for Sport is of huge importance to us at LIW 2016. They are an industry leading association and provide a wealth of knowledge and experience that ensures visitors to LIW will come away with the realisation of the huge importance of getting children active, and armed with the tools to put into practice initiatives to open their facility to children providing effective and fun activity sessions” commented Steve Orton, UK Managing Director, LIW.
