Hatton Boxing partners with Matrix Fitness to deliver complete boxing solutions for gyms

‘Hatton Powered by Matrix’ will be officially launched at next month’s Leisure Industry Week at the NEC, Birmingham

Hatton Boxing, one of the UK’s leading brands in boxing training, education and equipment, has teamed up with Matrix Fitness, one of the industry’s fastest-growing fitness equipment suppliers, to launch a complete boxing solution for new and existing gyms.

The new partnership, which will offer facilities a full boxing fitness solution for their gym floor including equipment and accessories, staff training and access to Hatton Boxing’s new ‘Fight Camp’ class programming, will be officially launched at Leisure Industry Week on 20-21 September.

Gyms that purchase the new boxing solution will also be licensed to use the ‘Hatton Powered by Matrix’ brand, including access to the Hatton image library, marketing collateral and signage to support in the branding of the boxing area.

Hatton Boxing and Matrix Fitness have developed three packages offering varying levels of support and depending on the space available; each package can be installed in an existing facility or considered as part of a new gym or re-build and combines the facility design, logistical and operational support from Matrix with the equipment and industry-leading training provided by Hatton Boxing to deliver a full-service boxing fitness solution.

Jon Eade, managing director of Hatton Boxing, said: “Boxing for fitness is rapidly increasing in popularity and it’s fantastic to be able to partner with one of the biggest fitness equipment suppliers to widen our reach and offer this solution across the industry.

“By combining our expertise in boxing equipment, education and training with Matrix’s extensive skills in facility design and operational support, customers will benefit from the collective experience of both brands and use ‘Hatton Powered by Matrix’ to tap into this growing trend and provide a real USP to any training facility.”

Hatton Boxing’s decision to partner with Matrix is an extension to the existing relationship between the two organisations, which saw Matrix recently equip Hatton Health & Fitness, the brand’s 11,000ft² gym based in Hyde, Cheshire.

‘Hatton Powered by Matrix’ will be officially launched at next month’s Leisure Industry Week and showcased at the Matrix International Show in October.

Director of Strategic Marketing EMEA & UK for Matrix Fitness, Gemma Bonnett, said: “Matrix continues to work with new partners to ensure that we can provide as much as possible to our customers. In the industry, operators are always looking for something different to offer their users across all sectors.

“This partnership is one that we are very excited about, and with increased awareness of boxing being acceptable as a fitness training method, it is also the right time for both organisations to work closer.”

The new partnership forms part of Hatton Boxing’s strategy to raise awareness of the brand across the fitness industry through supplier and distributor partnerships, and follows on from the recent announcement of a new supplier agreement with functional fitness equipment providers, Jordan Fitness.
