Leisure Industry Week has been transformed.
After 28 years, LIW has been through it all, from a compulsory annual gathering of delivery partners, educators, decision makers and employers that once spanned nearly half a million square feet of floor space, catering for the wet leisure, spa, attractions, sport, fitness, hospitality, health and play markets through to a period of ups and downs over in terms of industry relevance in recent years…
That is until the show was acquired by the organisers of BodyPower Expo in March 2015. The initial objective was clear: consolidate. Year one, despite a relatively short window for sales and marketing, was a success. For the first time in over 5 years’ visitor numbers increased to a healthy 8,029 for LIW 2015 and feedback was that the show had a very different atmosphere with a focus on education running throughout and partnerships with leading delivery partners like CIMPSA, SPATA, ukactive and many more.
Fresh off this successful first edition, BodyPower is pleased to introduce the new look LIW Featuring 6 distinct educational streams, each with a targeted marketing campaign to attract new footfall and reach visitors who had never considered LIW in the past.
Delegates will discover Health, Fitness, Play, Wet Leisure & Spa, Sport and Facilities Management education streams with a dedicated timetable of industry leading speakers including a host of keynote names mixing celebrity, sport and business.
